Eastern Gobi By Train Nadaam Festival Tour MONGOLIA – Nadaam Festival Tour Mongolia, a country of
spectacular landscape pristine nature and friendly people! In Mongolia, you
will experience a rich and ancient nomadic cultural heritage. You will
encounter an awesome landscape which varies from the spectacular Altai
mountain peaks to mysterious Gobi desert, to the untouched wildlife of the

Hong Kong/Beijing Take a free shuttle bus
transfer with Sino-Swiss Hotel and transfer to hotel for your overnight
stay. Beijing / Ulaan Baatar Breakfast at hotel and take the hotel shuttle bus back to airport for departure. Upon arrival at Ulaanbaatar,
you will be met and transferred to hotel. Ulaan Baatar - Terelji National Park After breakfast, take a day
trip to Terelji National Park which is a protected great area of taiga
forest, wetlands and alpine tundra. The mountain steppe is particularly
rich in species and colors. After exploring the area surrounding this
unique-shaped rock Turtle Rock and taking photographs of this stunning
landscape, visit a local family, where you will witness the genuine culture
of Mongolian nomads and enjoy their hospitality. The mountain mass Gorkhi
with high steeple-like peaks is covered with forest on the northern slopes.
This area is rich in the terms of wild life. You can leisurely strolls on
green meadows carpeted with edelweiss and dazing variety of other wild
flowers. Enjoy a fascinating view of rock formations against a backdrop of
pine covered mountains and wander along the wooded banks of a mountain
stream. We further take half day horse-riding at the park before transfer
back to Ulaanbaatar. Nadaam Festival Attend the opening ceremony
of the Nadaam festival at the Central Stadium in Ulaan Baatar. Enjoy
competitions of the three major sports: archery, wrestling and horse racing
along with Mongolian cultural performances. You will first see the
wrestling, followed by the archery.
Ulaan Baatar - Bayangobi After breakfast, transfer to Bayan-Gobi tour camp (270km). Excursion to Erdenehambiin Khiid monastery at picturesque Khugnu Khaan mountain. Visit to a local nomadic family and learn about the nomadic lifestyle and take 1-2 hours horse riding and try the traditional dairy products such as yogurt and taste the Mongolian vodka “airag” fermented mare’s milk. Barbecue diner at the tourist camp. Overnight in the traditional dwelling Ger at the tourist camp. Bayangobi - Karakorum After an early breakfast
transport to Karakorum (110km). Afternoon visit Erdene-Zuu, once was one of
the largest monasteries in Mongolia. Return to tourist camp for lunch.
Afternoon visit the monastery grounds and several chapels with excellent
examples of Buddhist iconography dating from the 16th century. Visit the
ruins of Karakorum, the 13th century capital of the Mongol Empire. Around
this place is a piece of picturesque land which is High Mountain with rock,
streams with mountain clear water, forest wood and fresh air. This is nice
to walk and take horse riding. Karakorum - Hustai National Park After an early breakfast, return to Ulaanbaatar. On the way visit a nomadic Mongolian family and learn about their lifestyle. After lunch at the tourist camp, afternoon drive to Hustain Nuruu National Reserve to view the Przewalsky wild horses, recently re-introduced into Mongolia. Enjoy half day free and leisure walk. Overnight stay in the traditional dwelling Ger at the tourist camp.
Hustai National Park - Ulaan Baatar Transfer back to Ulaanbaatar.
Lunch in a local restaurant. Afternoon visit to State National History
Museum and free for shopping at Gobi Cashmere factory. Dinner at a European
restaurant. Ulaan Baatar/Beijing/Hong Kong Breakfast at hotel. Free
